Il utilise les bact\u00e9ries qui repr\u00e9sentent la biomasse afin de d\u00e9grader la pollution repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par le substrat. Ces r\u00e9actions sont a\u00e9robies, elles n\u00e9cessitent donc de l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne. L\u2019aspect \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de cette question lui conf\u00e8re une actualit\u00e9 particuli\u00e8re ce qui nous a conduit \u00e0 une recherche d\u2019autres d\u2019alternatives pour un syst\u00e8me d\u2019a\u00e9ration d\u2019une station au nord-est alg\u00e9rien (Souk-Ahras) o\u00f9 elle utilise six (6) a\u00e9rateurs pour a\u00e9rer un bassin d\u2019un volume de 13068 m<sup>3<\/sup> avec une puissance de 75 KW chacun. Une simulation en fonction des param\u00e8tres polluants, a \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9e pour la d\u00e9termination du besoin r\u00e9el d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne (AOR), du taux de transfert d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne aux conditions du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 (OTRF), du nombre d\u2019appareils d\u2019a\u00e9ration, de \u00a0la puissance absorb\u00e9e par les \u00e9quipements qui nous ont permis de r\u00e9duire la consommation d\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique d\u2019un syst\u00e8me d\u2019a\u00e9ration.
