Ayant pour double objectif d\u2019optimiser l\u2019apprentissage linguistique et de favoriser les \u00e9changes entre apprenants, nous nous r\u00e9f\u00e9rons \u00e0 ce que M. Abdallah-Pretceille <sup>(1)<\/sup> th\u00e9orise comme un <b>\u201c<\/b> humanisme du divers<b>\u201d<\/b>. Nous soulignons d\u2019abord la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de r\u00e9interroger, dans un contexte de r\u00e9forme du syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif alg\u00e9rien, les notions d\u2019alt\u00e9rit\u00e9 et d\u2019interculturalit\u00e9. Ensuite, nous mettons en exergue la sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 du contexte alg\u00e9rien dans lequel la repr\u00e9sentation et le statut de la langue fran\u00e7aise semblent encore ambigus.
