Les densit\u00e9s de C. glaucum varient entre 22 \u00b1 9 ind.m<sup>-2<\/sup> (station 1, janvier) et 176 \u00b1 22 ind.m<sup>-2<\/sup> (station 3, avril). Le cycle biologique de cette esp\u00e8ce est caract\u00e9ris\u00e9 par un recrutement moins abondant en d\u00e9but du printemps, alors que celui de l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 est plus important et s\u2019\u00e9tale de juin \u00e0 septembre. L\u2019\u00e9tude de la croissance de ce bivalve en utilisant la m\u00e9thode indirecte, montre une croissance rapide en longueur durant la premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e, o\u00f9 les jeunes recrues gagnent jusqu\u2019\u00e0 21.33 mm. Durant la deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e, l\u2019allongement de la taille des individus diminue progressivement pour augmenter de 5.57 mm seulement. La relation entre la taille et le poids chez la coque du Mellah est proportionnelle, o\u00f9 le coefficient de corr\u00e9lation est \u00e9lev\u00e9 (r = 0.90).
